Patriot Hills Golf Club

Played Friday at 830 with no one in front of us for the entire round , this course is in good condition T to G , one thing here is course u can count on , good work being done keeping course in this shape , thx always !

Patriot Hills is one of my favorite courses in the NYC area, and I've been playing it for 15 years give or take. While most of the rating factors are excellent, the two most important -- pace of play and course conditions, need serious attention. Our round was 5+ hours because we were behind a group that was playing oft the Blue tees and should have been on the Reds. We had to wait an average of 5 minutes at nearly every hole for the group to clear. On the maintenance front, the tee boxes, fairways and greens are in terrific condition, but -- and this is a big but, the sand traps are a mess -- many dirty and full of stones. (I only know this because I had the misfortune of being in a dozen or so of them during my round.0 For a course of this potential caliber, management needs to enforce pace of play and maintain the entirely of the house, including the bunkers. Until they do, the best I can give them is 3 stars and that's being generous.

Patriot Hills is a fun golf course to play with beautiful vistas and challenging holes. Not a course I’d want to play everyday but definitely one I enjoyed. Tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Greens can be a little on the slow side but bc of the slope it would be very challenging to have them running much faster. Great bar area w golf simulators, pool tank, axe throwing and more. Staff very accommodating. Highly recommend this golf venue n

Great course. Fairways, tee boxes and bunkers in great shape. Greens were aerated around a week before but rolled okay. When they improve course will be magnificent.

This is one of my favorite courses but the pace of play is brutal

Beautiful course, great layout, really fun to play. It was Mother's Day so less crowded and we had a good pace (4.5hr) even with a slower group in front of us but I can imagine it being different on a regular weekend. Definitely can not walk this course. Looking forward to playing again.

Lightening and thundering left course earlier without finishing the round Hopefully I would like to get a rain check due to dangerous weather conditions

I’ve played a number of public courses and nothing compares to this one in terms of layout, staff, value, and difficulty. The course is kept as if it were a private club and the staff were friendly and wonderful. Great views on every hole, and the layout really makes you think about your shot. Highly recommend

Greens were true a little fast though. Overall a great day of golf

The course was in phenomenal shape given that the season just got underway a few weeks ago. Kudos to the maintenance staff!

The greens were rolling true and very fast! The sand in the sand in the bunkers was smooth, neither coarse nor grainy/littered with pebbles.

My playing partners and I were pleasantly surprised at what great shape the course was in, we will definitely be playing there again soon once it warms up even more!

Patriot Hills is a true 5 star with very fast greens. Disappointed the bunkers weren’t taken care of as well as tons of ball marks but still a great place to play.
