Very friendly staff
Watering causes muddy cart paths near tee boxes. Some bare spots adjacent to fairways.
Palo Verde
Course was a little run down. Greens were ok at best. I understand it is in the desert. So I’m trying to not be too critical. We’ve played this course several times over the past three years. And this year is definitely the worst.
Afternoon round
Good for a quick late afternoon round. Simple course. Easy to walk, no cart needed.
Fair price, did not give credit for on-line payment
A good round of golf. Got a little bunched up due to a mix of riders and walkers. As stated by others, some of the greens were ‘well visited’ by the geese. Surprised I was not given credit at the course for a partial on-line payment when I reserved the tee-time. Would go again!
Great short course
Ive played Palo Verde a few times. Its a great short course, sometimes plays slow but overall its a gem
Very nice 9 hole city course
Perfect course for the very casual / beginner golfer or a quick 9 hole round. A nice course to walk. The course is in very good condition. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Reasonable winter rates.
I wouldn’t play this course again even if the green fees were $1 or less.
I understand this course has a lot of play but there are no redeeming features.
What to say??
Consider this my home course, learned how to play here and at Cave Creek. I keep returning and have turned this little gem into a Sunday practice round, great for short/scoring irons and putting. Love this place, alway have- always will.
